This is a painting I had done during the school year as a side project. I ended up having to repaint the original in order to show it in my portfolio without cutting Cocky-Locky in half. I feel like it was a good choice because the characters were a little too close together. Overall I am much happier with the new one.

I decided to keep going with this side project during my spare time this summer and finish up what I started. I got a lot of good initial reactions from people about these characters so I figured I'd see what I could do with it.

ReplyDeletei really like the piece with the one chicken and the tree. I think it works better than the one with the fox because the diagonal lines make it a more interesting composition.
