Acmoore was having a sale. I bought this little birdhouse for $3 and then had some fun.

The Story of Chicken Little

(original)
This is a painting I had done during the school year as a side project. I ended up having to repaint the original in order to show it in my portfolio without cutting Cocky-Locky in half. I feel like it was a good choice because the characters were a little too close together. Overall I am much happier with the new one.
(redo)
I decided to keep going with this side project during my spare time this summer and finish up what I started. I got a lot of good initial reactions from people about these characters so I figured I'd see what I could do with it.

Treasure Chest
Upon Graduation the craftier side of me started to take over a little. I made this Treasure Chest/Jewelry box for our portfolio day in New York to display my promotional key chains in. It all started with an old cigar box I bought off the street for $3 and just went from there. I really enjoy the way it turned out and am hoping to do some more of these in the future.

I added the mirror and felt for more of the jewelry box look
